  My first time here and I ordered their popular cake the pound cake with buttercream frosting, and the cake was so dense, it tasted like bread. I know it's a pound cake but it was too dry for me. And their frosting was too sugary it made the quality of ingredients taste cheap. I never eat the frosting on the cake from local grocery store I just eat the cake part but from a good bakery you could eat the entire cake. I didn't do that here. What a disappointment, I wish I didn't purchase their cupcakes but they looked good. I had a taste of two different cupcakes they and were fine but that cake really ruined it for me. I do believe in second chances. Do try it out for yourself but I know much better bakeries. But place has a neat appearance and staff seems friendly.

  I don't see how anyone on the planet could possibly give this bakery less than 5 Stars! Everything they make is the best. Plus they are such nice people. The owner was starting to eat lunch one day when I was in there picking up some pastries. It was her homemade lasagna made with tomatoes out of her garden. I told her that it looked so good, and she said "Hold on, I'll get a plate and share it with you!" I had to get on back home, but she would have done it. What a sweet person and what a great bakery!!
  My absolute favorite is the Lemon Poundcake with lemon glaze! They sell these as fast as they can make them, so call ahead.

  Best bakery in Charlotte! I haven't had anything that is less than delicious. The Morning Glory muffins are the best that I have ever had.
